I was carrying a small table and thought that I was about a foot to the left of where I actually was. I stepped forward thinking that I was still on flat ground. I stepped off the curb (about 4 inches high) and felt my ankle roll along with the outer half of my foot. Did it hurt, oh yeah it hurt a lot. I found I had a grade II sprain. This was better then the break that it felt like I had. The docter told me that it was not far from a fracture but, some rest and an ankle brace or ankle support would do me wonders.
Needless to say that was 5 weeks ago and I am able to walk run and do most things now courtesy of The Liberty DSO which after searching for online I found at an online store called Filermedical.
I had bruising for about 2 weeks and could put no pressure on it for about 10 days. I also refrained from taking the pain medication that was prescribed to me because I felt like if it hurt when I did it (as in moved or put pressure) hen I should not do it so there was no reason to mask or hide the pain.
